Alvin L. Reid serves as Professor of Evangelism and Student Ministry and the Bailey Smith Chair of Evangelism at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. A prolific author and popular speaker to leaders and young adults, Alvin has a passion for disciple-making, mentoring, missional Christianity, and spiritual awakening. He and his wife Michelle have two married children serving in ministry. He also serves as Pastor to Young Professionals at the rapidly growing Richland Creek Community Church in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
