Nicki Pendleton Wood loves food and has put two decades into food writing, restaurant reviewing and cookbook editing, moving between books, newspapers and magazines. She graduated from Sewanee and UNC-Chapel Hill. She lived, taught and edited cookbooks in Cambridge, England, for several years and has a pretty convincing English accent. She’s a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals and among roughly 350 people worldwide who hold the group’s CCP certification. She recently began a second career as a mammographer. She’s an enthusiastic cook, cyclist, gardener and hiker. She is married to writer Tom Wood, and they have a daughter who is a fantastic skater and web developer.
