When you see the name Glenys Nellist on the cover you can be assured that the words contained within will point you to Jesus. In Snuggle Time Prayers Glenys gives us fifteen prayers to share with our kids. Each section begins with a verse of Scripture and then has a rhyming prayer. Just think you're already beginning to teach your little one how to pray back the words of God! That's a lifelong benefit that you are instilling.
The book itself is beautifully illustrated by the talented Cee Biscoe. All of the sweet little animals pictured are absolutely adorable. So soft and cuddly! The book is a padded board book that is sturdy enough to stand up to multiple readings from little hands.
If you are looking for a new bedtime book for your nightly routine I highly recommend this one. The words are ones that are sure to be remembered and the pictures are a treat as well.

“Snuggle Time Prayers” was written by Glenys Nellist. It was illustrated by Cee Biscoe. First of all, the illustrations are just precious!! I can see children being just enthralled by them. This story is written with rhyme and rhythm, so it will keep their attention. For each section, Ms. Nellist picks a Bible verse and then writes a poem to go along with it.
There’s not much to say except, I highly recommend this book for bedtime stories!

There are 15 prayers total in Snuggle Time Prayers. Although the title makes it seem like these are bedtime prayers, many are great for any time of day. What I especially enjoyed about this book of prayers is that each of the prayers are written in the first person (from the child's point of view). I thought this was unique and a great way to help teach children how to pray.
Snuggle Time Prayers is definitely going to be a favorite in our house.

I have a two year old who is really starting to enjoy books, especially right before bed. What better way to make sure he sleeps tight and has sweet dreams than a book of prayers before bed!
I really like the way this book is formatted. Each prayer is two pages and begins with a Bible verse that the prayer will then be based on. For example, the first one is on Ecclesiastes 3:1 There is a time for everything. It then goes on to relate it to toddlers like "time to snuggle in my bed" and all the things that littles need to do. The illustrations are adorable animals that look just like something you'd like to snuggle with!
This is a great book to teach kids to how to pray and talk to God just like they would a friend. It paints the picture of a loving God who is a father to them and brings it all down to their level.
Jax and I have been enjoying Snuggle Time Prayers and we love to read it together before bed! (Posted on 1/21/2016)

This book is a perfect one for doing just that! Based entirely on scripture, your children will hear the sweetest words and see the most darling illustrations with this book that is filled with just over 10 Snuggle Time Prayers. Each one brought delight to my heart as I read the words from the author. I loved them all but my absolute favorite was the last one entitled, "Awesome God". A most eloquent prayer of thanks.

This would be a book that your kids will enjoy reading over and over again and as a parent you will enjoy them learning to pray!
The pictures on this include different animals on each page, each very adorable. There is also some rhyming in the prayers but not every line so it can be a fun game to play to see who can find the rhyming words.
