The Believe Storybook is a Bible storybook with a unique approach - intended to show how we can (& should) think, act, and be like Jesus.

Randy Frazee has books in the Believe series for a variety of ages.

The Believe Storybook is not arranged like a typical Bible storybook (with separate sections of Old Testament stories and New Testament stories). It is divided into three main sections ("Think", "Act", and "Be") with each section containing 10 topics of study (such as: "Identity in Christ", "Compassion", "Giving My Resources", "Hope", etc). Within each topic of study, there is both an Old Testament and New Testament story reference along with other features - "Key Question", "The Jump to Jesus", and "The Jesus Answer".

I love the layout and the idea behind the Believe Storybook. The Old Testament and New Testament stories are linked together and everything is always tied back to Jesus. Definitely a great resource for every family.

Believe Storybook by Randy Frazee is awesome! This book teaches children how they can think, act, and be more like Jesus. The illustrations throughout the book are absolutely beautiful. Since beginning this book I have seen my kids trying to think, act, and be more like Jesus which makes my heart sing! I love anything that encourages us to be more like Jesus and I have to admit that this Believe Storybook has been helping me to think, act, and be more like Jesus as well. We all need help with this on a daily basis so sitting down with my kids and focusing on doing just that has helped my family in a tremendous way. My husband, kids and I truly enjoy this book. Believe Storybook would be a terrific gift to families this holiday season! Disclosure: I received product(s) for free, in exchange for my honest review. I only recommend products I've used personally, and believe will be good fit for consumers. (Posted on 12/10/2015)

I received this free in order to review.

This book goes great for the younger siblings to read while their older ones are reading the student edition. This storybook is full of amazing stories that show how they can act, think and be more like Jesus. I love the beautiful pictures and how well they are illustrated.

When a book comes along that is beautifully illustrated it just captures my attention. Believe Storybook did exactly that. I love the content of the book and I'm thrilled that it goes along with the rest of the Believe curriculum allowing little ones to study along with the rest of their family. But I have to say that the art work is what stands out to me. I'm going to have to keep my eyes open for more of Steve Adams' work.

This book is set up like the others in that it has three sections that speak about how to think, act and be like Jesus. Laurie Lazzaro Knowlton has helped Randy Frazee adapt the language so that younger children will easily grasp the concepts. This duo did a fabulous job in the overall presentation. The thirty chapters cover the same topics that the Believe Kids' Edition and the Believe Student Edition do but it is designed to be read to 4-8 year olds.

I would recommend this whole series of books to families with multiple age levels of kids. What a nice way to study the same concepts and topics at appropriate levels. The thought of dinner conversations about the Scriptures studied by the whole family just warms my heart. How precious would it be for your six-year-old to be able to talk about Samson and self-control with your sixteen-year-old? Those families that choose to use these resources are definitely going to be blessed! (Posted on 8/9/2015)

The Believe Storybook is a large, hardcover book with beautiful glossy pages. The Bible stories are well-written and clearly point everything back to Jesus. Each of the books in the Believe series contains the same Bible references and questions, written for each age group. It is an amazing tool for families or even for a homeschool Bible curriculum. We have been so blessed by the first few chapters and while we may read a chapter or two, I will mainly be using this as our Bible curriculum this fall. It gives an excellent introduction for young ones into having a personal time with God each day, while laying out simple steps to studying the Bible.

Teaching our children to read and study the Bible is a huge asset to their Christian walk. It has to be done in order to grow spiritually. I as a Christian mom started my children out very young and we usually begin with simple Bible stories. Pastor Randy Frazee has developed a new strategy that he thinks will further their learning even more. He has taken stories that give a different approach to learn about God's majesty as our Creator and about our Savior as well. So there are select stories that build on the theme of thinking, acting and being like Jesus.

Each story that is entirely based on Scripture has a key idea and a key verse. My favorite part is the Jesus answer at the end of each story. It is a pondering of sorts on the lesson itself. It helps the child to think through what they just learned and it becomes a driving force in hitting home for them. There are beautiful illustrations in the book that give you that old history feel. And to top it all off, the Believe series has a kids edition as well as a student edition. These are great books to use in your homeschool, Sunday school, or even in your home for devotional purposes. They have really helped my children and I know they will help yours. Look for my reviews on the other books in the series.

Geared for ages 4-8 years of age.

This Bible is turning into one of my new favorite kids bibles. I never knew it was a large Bible but I think it is fantastic! I love how each chapter hits old and then relates it to the new testament and all of it leading to Jesus as a gospel approach! The chapters are a bit longer compared to others kids Bibles but this Bible keeps the attention of my 4 and 7 year old nicely. Each chapter includes a question to focus on, old testament, jump to Jesus, new testament, the Jesus answer, and a key idea and key verses to end the chapter. My kids love repeating the key idea as declarations and reciting the Bible verse. We have only done the first 6 chapters and have many more to go but each night I find myself excited for the kids Bible time! Ultimately to book encourages all to think, act, and be like Jesus!

The pictures are very unique with light colors with a peaceful or quietness about them. This book retails for $19.99 on Zondervan.

Thanks Zondervan for sending me a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not paid for this review and all opinions are 100% mine! Thanks for reading and I hope you consider sharing this Bible with your little ones! (Posted on 5/23/2015)

Watching my children fall in love with reading has been such a joy for me this year! Reed actually just got the reading award in first grade and I couldn't be more thrilled! The little boy I used to have to force to do his reading is now described by his teacher as always having a book in his hand!

He eagerly checks out any book I give him and the Believe Storybook was no exception! He gobbled it up like he does all books!

My family does devotions together every night and this is centered around a children's devotional book or Bible. We just finished our last storybook Bible that was basically just all the major stories that we read to our children in a very simple, young format.

Reed is now seven and does most of the reading to fulfill his requirements from school. Paige is five and just finishing Kindergarten. She usually answers the questions found at the end of the chapter. It took almost a year to get through our last book and they both grew and changed so much this last year that they definitely outgrew the book and were ready for something more mature.

I really like that the Believe books from Randy Frazee have versions available from the tiniest of tots through young adult. This Storybook version is for ages 4+ and it's just perfect for my older kids.

They were really excited to dive in to a new book and we all liked the big, larger than life size. It makes it easy for young hands to hold and grasp and especially when it's spread between the laps of two children.

When I read the foreword first I was really excited! The format of this book explores the themes of the Bible like love and forgiveness. While it doesn't go from Genesis to Revelation like most, it does include some of those favorite Bible stories that kids know and love. The focus instead is more on the purpose and meaning of the stories instead of just the facts.

I feel like this is the perfect transitional storybook to take my kids faith to the next level and I'm so exited about what we will all learn from Believe!
