Faithgirlz editors have been there and know just the trick to help our girls feel more accepted and loved just like their Father feels they should be. They have put together a book that gives them just a small piece of advice on just about any subject. It is well formatted and it has just small tidbits, so its not an overwhelming book by any means.
With little pieces of advice such as ordering healthy when eating out and becoming more independent our girls will be on their way to a better overall sense of self in no time. And that's not all there is a quiz in the back of the book, who doesn't like quizzes?
**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author. (Posted on 11/24/2015)

This is an awesomely cute book for pre-adolescent and adolescent girls and gives solid advice to them for a variety of situations. Not only does it give advice, it gives concrete methods of going about and doing it. Eating healthy? After the advice, it give a great recipe for an easy to make baked lemon chicken, which not only promotes healthier choice, but it also promotes a healthier self-esteem, giving the girls confidence that they can at least feed themselves once they are away from home.
I am definitely giving this to my older daughter in hopes that she can read some of it, and take it away with her as she starts to transition into the end of elementary school next year. I truly believe parents can never start a strong, confident foundation too early.
You’re probably thinking right now, this review is saying all positive things…why is she giving it such a so-so rating? The reason is in the picture below…. (picture at: http://girlandherbible.blogspot.com/2015/07/review-101-things-girls-should-know.html)
The glue that holds the cover onto the completely fell apart the day I received the book from the publisher. If I was going to give this book to one of my daughter’s friends, which I was considering doing, I wouldn’t want the cover to come off the same day as I received it. It is very disappointing.
